The Community College of Beaver County men's basketball team posted a comfortable 103-68 win at home against Westmoreland County Community College Saturday in WPCC action.
The victory improves The Titans to 17-3 overall and 6-1 in WPCC action.
Westmoreland (6-14, 3-4 WPCC) kept things close early in the first half Saturday before The Titans put together a 13-0 to start the second half. The Wolfpack would never threaten in the second half as CCBC pushed the lead out to a game-high 40 points before emptying the bench.
CCBC shot 53.4 percent from the field (39-of-73), 50.0 percent from 3-point (11-of-22) and 87.5 percent at the free throw line (14-of-16).
Deonate Robertson played limited minutes in the second half after posting 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the first 30 minutes alone. He finished the day with a game-high 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Donald Butler , Simeon Fryer , Jamaal Brown , Antwan James , Marquise Dubose all scored in double figures to help The Titans secure the win.
Westmoreland was led by Ja'Kory Freeman who scored multiple baskets in the second half, which majority of his baskets came in half court sets.
Saturday's game marked the opening of the second round of conference play in the WPCC for CCBC, which swept Westmoreland Community College in the season series.
