Brooklynn Medina Recognized As Region 20 Player of the Month

MONACA, Pa. – The Community College of Beaver County women's basketball program continues to forge a path of greatness never experienced yet before, adding another layer as Brooklynn Medina beat out the competition to be named NJCAA Region 20's Division II Player of the Month.

 

Medina, a sophomore guard from Martinsburg, West Virginia, averaged a shade under 30 points a night (29.5) while connecting on 27 three-pointers with a dozen of those long balls coming in the historic victory over Westmoreland that etched her name into the national record book.

 

The Salem University (West Virginia) transfer posted double-doubles at Southern Maryland and against the aforementioned Wolfpack as she racked up 9.5 rebounds, 6.8 triples, 4.5 assists, and four steals per game in January

 

CCBC is currently in the midst of a five-game winning streak and has its next chance to extend it on Wednesday at 5 p.m. when the Titans host Frederick.
