MONACA, Pa. – The Community College of Beaver County women's basketball program doubled up Cecil College (18-9) in the third quarter of an otherwise evenly-matched game to give the Titans just enough breathing room to survive, winning their seventh straight contest by a final of 69-55.

• Make that three consecutive double-doubles and four in her past five for Josie Russell as she puts together 16 points plus a game-best 13 rebounds while blocking both of her team's shots and tying for the lead regarding steals at two.

• Jada Ward topped 20 points for the sixth time in eight appearances, fronting the Titans at 23 points on 9-of-20 (45%) to go along with eight boards, a trio of assists and a pair of steals.

• Brooklynn Medina registered at least five of the following categories; points (14), rebounds (8) and assists (6), the last of those being a contest-high.
