Women Notch Program Record 13th Win at Garrett

MCHENRY, Md. – The Community College of Beaver County women's basketball program made sure not to fall into the trap of becoming complacent after a historic showing the game before, taking care of its business at Garrett College and set the school's new single season wins record in the process, improving to 13-3 (81.3%) with a 106-69 shellacking of the Lakers.

Titans' Top Performers: 

• Josie Russell is seemingly putting up 20+ rebounds and points nightly, doing so against the Lakers by scoring 22 and grabbing 20 boards plus a block.

• Brooklynn Medina has not slowed down at all, dropping a cool 35 near the West Virginia border with eight rebounds and a trio of both steals and assists to go with them.

• Jada Ward nearly went for back-to-back triple-doubles but had to settle for merely 32 points, nine rebounds and team-highs for assists (9) as well as steals (5).

• Kasaya Krause would get the headlines on almost any other squad however, we are making sure to give her flowers as she stuffed the stat sheet at 16 points, five boards, four dimes, and three takeaways.
