Women’s Basketball Earns First Postseason Win In Program History
MONACA, Pa. – The #3 seed Community College of Beaver County women's basketball program won its first postseason game in school history on Tuesday night, surviving and advancing to the Region 20 Tournament Semifinals with 68-51 victory over the #6 seed Howard CC Dragons.

Titans' Top Performers:
- Josie Russell got back to her double-double ways, scoring 13 and bringing down 11 rebounds while also collecting a quartet of steals.
- Jada Ward was the game's leader in most categories including points (19), steals (8), and assists (7) as she nearly notched a double-double as well at nine boards, playing all 40 minutes of action.
- Avah Williams burst onto the scene with one of her best outings of her debut collegiate season, tying for her most rebounds in a contest at 13 to top all players plus four points.
- Both Brooklynn Medina as well as Kasaya Krause went for 15 points as the duo combined to make all six triples for the Titans on top of nine rebounds and a half-dozen dimes between them.
